This Bed Mill is a very versatile and affordable bed mill machine. It comes with a high efficient 5HP inverter duty motor that offers a high-torque output and infinite variable speed.
ACER ATM 1054 FEATURES:
We like the beefy 5VK head with a toshiba 5HP inverter that allows you to use this machine either single phase or 3 phase with no phase converter needed for the single phase! We love that this opens the door to every type of shop. Whether you are a small shop, lab or school or if you are a large facility that has 3 phase, this bed mill is good for all these senerios.
The ATM 1054 has an infinite 50-3750 RPM motor with a constant spindle speed. The machine is equiped NST 40 spindle.
When ACER designed the head, they eliminated 54 parts from the Bridgeport design, allowing for fewer breakdowns due to less breakable parts. Our customers love the ACER heads, sharing with us that they are a game changer for their shops.
This Bed Mill also comes with an electrical and mechanical brake for a fast spindle stop.
The electronic brake assists in boring and tapping applications. It also comes with a USA made "Allen Bradley" switch and components so you know that they built quality into this machine.
You get large travel on X , Y, and Z: 31" /20" /21" respectively for easy machining of large parts. The distance between the spindle nose and the table is 25", allowing for easy machining of tall parts.

The machine itself boasts that all three Axes are hardened and ground with the mating surfaces coated with Turcite B. ACER also utilizes C5 precision ball screw for precision and smooth movement on X, Y, & Z.
The X axis has dove tail ways, while Y and Z are box ways. Together they provide a smooth and efficient X, Y, Z movement.
THE ACER ATM 1054 BODY:
When we look to represent a machine tool building company we take a look at the castings first. Getting that well built base is a must! ACER's base boasts that they use the industry standard Meehanite cast iron construction with reinforced internally with a rib pattern. The machine weighs 4600 lbs. and its table can handle a 1,500 lb. load.

It features an 11" color TFT LCD screen. Its conversational mode is easy with a screen where the operator fills in the blanks and pushes cycle start! The icon base system boasts of 36 cycles offering full G-Code with interactive help screens.
This control also has a built-in mini CAD/CAM, comes with a USB memory port as standard and has an option to add an eithernet port. The Tool path & Solid Graphic Simulator is also standard. And finally, we like the 3 liter auto lube system that comes standard and lubricates all surfaces.
